Bettany Joins Cambridge Analytica Feature

Paul Bettany is reportedly set to star in a new untitled film about the Cambridge Analytica scandal from “Prince Avalanche” and “Halloween” director David Gordon Green.

The story will follow consultant Christopher Wylie, who was hired by Cambridge Analytica CEO, Alexander Nix (Bettany), to help lead the data collection initiative for the company which made headlines for its harvesting of Facebook-derived personal data without consent for political advertising purposes.

“Avengers” helmers Joe and Anthony Russo will produce and their go to scribes Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely will pen the script.

Green is in post on “Halloween Kills” and will shoot “Halloween Ends” later this year. Once his commitments there are finished, Green will hop over to this which hopes to start filming before year’s end.

Bettany is set to reprise his role as Vision in the upcoming Disney+ streaming series “WandaVision” late this year.
