“Drive” composer Cliff Martinez has dropped out of scoring “Logan” according to the film’s director James Mangold.
Mangold confirmed on Twitter on Friday that veteran composer Marco Beltrami, who previously worked with Mangold on both “3:10 to Yuma” and “The Wolverine,” is returning to the X-Men spin-off series for Hugh Jackman’s final outing in the role.
In fact Mangold says Beltrami was working on the score on the other day. “Logan” is slated to be rated R with a much bigger focus on character drama than action. It opens in cinemas March 3rd.
@marco_beltrami Sure! But always wise to start softer and hear from other side before making accusations. Relax. Marco is scoring the film.
