Australian actress Ruby Rose, star of the upcoming “Batwoman” series, has revealed that she needed emergency surgery following a serious injury which left her facing the possibility of paralysis.
Rose did a post in which she revealed she was told a few months ago she needed an emergency surgery or risk becoming paralyzed. The actress had herniated two discs doing stunts and in the process was not only in chronic pain but close to severing her spinal chord.
Rose went on to thank her doctor for “allowing me to keep working and doing what I love” and sharing video of herself undergoing the surgery. Rose’s turn as Batwoman premieres this coming Sunday, October 6th on The CW.
