EA has confirmed in a press release that its upcoming multiplayer-only game “Battlefield 2042” has been delayed several weeks from October 22nd to November 19th.
DICE Studio GM Oskar Gabrielson detailed why the team decided to push back the game, citing the unforeseen challenges created by the global pandemic on the development teams.
As a result, they need the extra time to deliver on the vision of the game for players. DICE promised more news later this month about the upcoming beta for the game. The title launch with seven maps for 128 player matches.
The late Michael K. Williams reprised his role of Kimble “Irish” Graves for the upcoming game.
