Move over Rockstar’s broken GTA Trilogy remaster, there’s a new dunce in town. EA’s “Battlefield 2042” has earned the ignominious honour of becoming one of the worst-reviewed games of all time on PC game storefront Steam.
With over 36,700 reviews published as of this posting, the reaction has been ‘mostly negative’. According to Steam250, the game now reportedly sits as the 9th worst game of all time on the service which contains tens of thousands of games. The only other recent title to fare worse was “eFootball 2022” which sits in the top spot.
The launch of “Battlefield 2042” has been a rough one with players complaining about a lack of features, broken vehicles, poor PC performance and more. DICE has published a list of Battlefield 2042 known issues and bugs and will update the title on a rolling basis.
