The first “Charlie’s Angels” film trio – Drew Barrymore, Cameron Diaz and Lucy Liu – are set to reunite nearly two decades later on the series premiere of Barrymore’s new talk show on Monday September 14th.
“The Drew Barrymore Show” will be hosted and executive produced by the Golden Globe-winning actress who will also reunite with her “50 First Dates” co-star Adam Sandler on the opening episode.
Other first week guests include Reese Witherspoon, Billy Eichner, Jane Fonda, Gabrielle Union, Charlize Theron, Tyra Banks, Billy Porter
Barrymore’s former “Santa Clarita Diet” executive producers Chris Miller and Ember Truesdell are also onboard to executive produce the new series. A making of featurette for the new show is also out below.
Barrymore has a week of freedom before eyes turn towards “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” which has set its Season 18 premiere for Monday, September 21st with host Ellen DeGeneres saying in a statement “we’re gonna talk about it” believed to be in reference to the very public troubles behind the scenes and the ousting of three top producers amid internal allegations of racial insensitivity and sexual misconduct.
