Filmmaker Chris McQuarrie has confirmed on Twitter that Emmy-nominated Scottish composer Lorne Balfe has been set to compose the score for the upcoming “Mission: Impossible – Fallout”.
A frequent collaborator with Hans Zimmer, most notably on the “Sherlock Holmes” films, he’s also scored the likes of “The Florida Project,” “Pacific Rim: Uprising,” “The Lego Batman Movie,” “Ghost in the Shell,” and “13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi”.
Balfe takes over from Joe Kraemer who scored 2015’s “Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation”. “Mission: Impossible – Fallout” is slated to open in cinemas on July 27th.
