Tessa Thompson has confirmed an older Collider report that Christian Bale is indeed playing the villain of the upcoming “Thor: Love and Thunder” for Marvel Studios.
Speaking to ET Now this week, Thompson says she has read Taika Waititi’s script for the film and that her Valkyrie and Thor face off against Bale’s still-unknown character which has been speculated to be Balder the Brave.
Filming begins later this year after Bale works on David O. Russell’s new film shooting this spring. “Thor: Love and Thunder” opens November 5th 2021.
