“Bad Boys for Life” scribe Chis Bremner has been set to pen “M.A.S.K.,” the film adaptation of the famed 1980s toy line at Paramount Pictures and Hasbro.
The story is based on the 1980s Kenner action figures and its accompanying animated series about Mobile Armored Strike Kommand (M.A.S.K.), a task force whose mission is to take down the criminal organization known as V.E.N.O.M.
The overall plan is for a “contemporary subculture movie with a youth empowerment angle”. F. Gary Gray (“The Fate of the Furious”) is attached to direct and produce via Fenix Studios and Allspark Pictures.
Bremner is also writing a third “National Treasure” feature at Disney.
