“Bad Boys for Life” directors Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah have been hired to helm the new “Batgirl” feature at Warner Bros. Pictures and HBO Max.
Christina Hodson (“Bumblebee,” “Birds of Prey”) penned the script which is being planned for a direct-to-HBO Max release.
The feature will follow Barbra Gordon, the daughter of Gotham City police commissioner James Gordon, and her own actions fighting crime in that city.
Kristin Burr (“Cruella”) is producing. The helmers most recently served as co-showrunners of Marvel Studios series “Ms. Marvel” which they directed the premiere and finale episodes of.
