Morena Baccarin (“Firefly,” “Homeland”), Rob Delaney (“Deadpool 2,” “Catastrophe”), Beverly D’Angelo (“Vacation”), David Rasche (“In the Loop”), Rebecca Henderson (“Westworld”) and Molly Brown (“The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel”) will co-star with Sigourney Weaver and Kevin Kline in “The Good House” for Amblin Partners.
Weaver plays a wry New England realtor and descendant of the Salem witches who loves her wine and secrets. Her compartmentalized life starts to unravel as she rekindles an old romance and becomes dangerously entwined in one person’s reckless behavior.
Baccarin plays a luminous woman in an unhappy marriage and an air of danger, Delaney plays an astute psychiatrist who feels trapped and cheats on his wife, D’Angelo plays Weaver’s loud and gregarious best friend, Rasche is Weaver’s ex-partner who is now a good-natured gay antiques dealer, Henderson and Brown will play Weaver’s two daughters.
Filming is underway in Canada with Maya Forbes and Wally Wolodarsky directing and adapting the script from Ann Leary’s novel.
