Dan Aykroyd and Chevy Chase have joined the mystery teen romance feature “Zombie Town” based on the novel by “Goosebumps” and “Fear Street” author R.L. Stine.
The book sees a quiet town upended when twelve-year-old Mike (Marlon Kazadi) and his friend, Karen (Madi Monroe), see a horror movie called Zombie Town and unexpectedly see the title characters leap off the screen and chase them through the theater.
“Mission: Impossible” alum Henry Czerny and “Kids in the Hall” veterans Scott Thompson and Bruce McCulloch also star. The film is currently shooting in Ontario under the helm of Canadian animator Peter Lepeniotis.
Zombie Town will premiere in U.S. cinemas before streaming on Hulu and then ABC Australia in 2023.
