“Avengers” ‘Feud’ Wasn’t RDJ & Reynolds

Marvel

The other week came a report from The Hot Mic’s John Rocha, indicating that two actors had a falling-out while working on the set of “Avengers: Doomsday”.

Rocha was very clear to say he wasn’t going to name names or even hint at who was involved in the alleged feud beyond it being between two outspoken actors.

Fans quickly ran with speculation that it was Ryan Reynolds and Robert Downey Jr., and several outlets ran with that despite it being only guesswork.

Now, appearing on an episode of The Truth, Rocha added that: “Neither side of it was RDJ or Ryan Reynolds”.

Now, People Magazine has added to the report and confirmed Rocha’s statement. They say not only were Downey JR. and Reynolds not involved in the altercation, they haven’t even worked on the movie together, and in fact “have never met in person”.

The outlet’s sources add there is “zero bad blood” between Reynolds and RDJ, and it’s still unclear if Reynolds will be reprising his role as Deadpool.

“Avengers: Doomsday” is continuing production ahead of a December 2026 release.
