Following its debut in cinemas late last week with the third weekend of “Avatar: Fire and Ash,” Marvel Studios has now officially premiered the third of several teaser trailers for “Avengers: Doomsday”.
This one focuses on the X-Men. Ian McKellen’s Magneto does the voiceover of the clip, which mostly moves through the X-Mansion. We see him and Patrick Stewart’s Professor X together in a scene.
We also see, briefly, James Marsden’s Cyclops in a comic-accurate uniform as he rips off his visor and opens his eyes – the energy pouring out into the sky.
Marvel sticks to its plan of releasing new trailers in cinemas on Friday before going online the following Tuesday. A fourth one involving the Fantastic Four and the Wakandans will release in cinemas this week.
There have been rumours of a fifth and even sixth teaser, but that’s not confirmed as yet. “Avengers: Doomsday” is currently slated for release in December.
