Though Marvel Studios has seemingly lost its shine in recent years, no-one is going to bet against them when it comes to the next “Avengers” films.
Bloomberg reports that in a recent poll about the expected highest-grossing box-office films of 2026, over 700 industry experts weighed in and voted that “Avengers: Doomsday” will take the crown.
The Marvel film easily took the top spot, with “The Super Mario Galaxy Movie” in second going by the vote count. Further down were “Toy Story 5” and “The Odyssey” competing for third and fourth place.
Then much further down than that, “Dune: Part Three,” “The Mandalorian and Grogu,” “Minions 3,” and the live-action “Moana” took the next four spots.
Meanwhile, a new list of the most searched for 2026 movies on Google in the U.S. has emerged at Vegas Insider and, no surprise, “Avengers: Doomsday” is on top.
This time, “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” is in second place, followed by “Toy Story 5,” “Scream 7,” “Supergirl,” “The Cat in the Hat,” “Masters of the Universe,” “Street Fighter,” “The Odyssey” and “Wuthering Heights”.
In addition, and in news that will be very welcomed by Disney, “Avengers: Doomsday” has ranked as China’s most anticipated foreign film in 2026 according to Douban, followed by “Dune: Part Three,” “The Odyssey,” “Toy Story 5,” “Return to Silent Hill,” “Spider-Man: Brand New Day,” “Project Hail Mary,” and “The Devil Wears Prada 2”.
