Vertical Entertainment has acquired North American rights to Australian filmmaker Shane Abbess’ sci-fi thriller “Infini”.
Daniel MacPherson, Luke Hemsworth, Grace Huang, Bren Foster and Luke Ford star in the story which centers on a search and rescue team transported through deep space in the 23rd century to a distant mining colony to save the sole survivor of a biological outbreak.
During their mission, they find a lethal weapon which is set to arrive on Earth within the hour. Vertical plans to release the film both in cinemas and on VOD platforms day-and-date on May 8th.
Abbess (“Gabriel”) directed from his own script. Abbess, Sidonie Abbene, Matthew Graham, and Brett Thornquest serve as producers.
