After eight seasons, The CW’s “Arrow” is saying goodbye with Stephen Amell’s green hooded hero and his fellow castmates wrapping production on the final episode.
Former showrunner Marc Guggenheim and current showrunner Beth Schwartz tweeted out a heartfelt message saying: “It’s hard to believe that today is here: the final day of production on ARROW. We are so incredibly grateful to each and every one of you for helping us bring this show to life.”
In the wake of that, numerous cast members took to social media to offer their own messages of gratitude and farewell to the series which kickstarted the current ‘Arrow-verse’ which now encompasses at least a half dozen shows with more on the way.
“Arrow” debuted in 2012 and the series finale titled “Fadeout” will premiere on January 28th 2020.
