“Dune” star Jason Momoa has confirmed that he has tested positive for COVID-19. The actor revealed the news via a short clip on Instagram stories, showing off his life in quarantine and reassuring fans he’s doing fine.

Momoa says he “got hit with COVID” right after the premiere of Denis Villeneuve’s “Dune” in London: “There’s a lot of people I met in England. Got a lot of aloha from people, and who knows.”

Filming on James Wan’s “Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom,” in which Momoa plays the lead character, is currently underway and it’s not clear if it has been impacted. Almost every major film production in recent months have been hit with COVID-related delays.

Patrick Wilson, Amber Heard, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Randall Park, Pilou Asbaek, Jani Zhao, Indya Moore and Vincent Regan co-star with that film to hit theaters on December 16th 2022.
