Apple’s “Bad Monkey” Fills Out Its Cast

Rob Delaney, Ana Villafane, Ahmed Elhaj and Arturo Luis Soria will round out the cast of the Apple TV+ drama series “Bad Monkey” which is penned and executive produced by Bill Lawrence (“Ted Lasso”).

Based on Carl Hiaasen’s popular 2013 novel, Vince Vaughn stars a one-time detective demoted to restaurant inspector in Southern Florida.

A severed arm found by a tourist out fishing pulls him into a seedy underbelly of greed and corruption stretching from the Everglades to the Bahamas. A monkey is involved as well.

Villafane plays a medical examiner, Delaney the boyfriend of a woman (Meredith Hagner) whose husband died mysteriously, Elhaj a Bahamian fisherman fighting a land developer, and Soria a Key West police detective who sets Vaughn’s character off on his investigation.

They all join Michelle Monaghan and Jodie Turner-Smith who also star in the lead female roles in the series.
