Apple is reportedly getting into the bundling business, potentially offering a number of different subscription services at discount in single priced packages.
First up, Bloomberg reports that a new bundle within the Apple TV+ app could see Showtime and CBS All Access be available together for $9.99 per month as opposed to the $10.99 and $9.99 each they are respectively at the moment.
This would be available through Apple TV Channels within the app, as opposed to the standalone CBS All Access and Showtime apps on the Apple TV, Roku and the like.
That’s not all though. The outlet also reports that the company is expected to roll out a package dubbed ‘Apple One’ with Apple Music and Apple TV+ in the basic tier and further (but more costly) tiers with Apple Arcade, Apple News Plus and additional iCloud storage.
Those bundles could debut as soon as October alongside new iPhones and the launch of iOS 14. The company is also developing a new subscription for virtual fitness classes.
Apple is posting around $13 billion in quarterly revenue just on services alone – those numbers climbing up 15% year over year.
