After seemingly being stuck on a shelf for two years, an untitled Jennifer Lawrence-led war veteran PTSD drama from filmmaker Lila Neugebauer looks set to finally emerge.
Distributor A24 has reportedly sold the film off to Apple where it also has landed an official title – “Causeway”. Apple has announced that the film will be coming to theaters and the Apple TV+ streaming service later this year.
The story is dubbed an “intimate portrait of a soldier struggling to adjust to her life after returning home to New Orleans following a tour in Afghanistan.”
Brian Tyree Henry, Samira Wiley, Linda Emond and Stephen McKinley Henderson co-star in the film penned by Ottessa Moshfegh, Luke Goebel, and Elizabeth Sanders.
