The second season hasn’t even started production yet, but Apple has already handed out a renewal order for a third season of its comedy series “Ted Lasso” starring Jason Sudeikis.
The order follows just two months after a second season renewal was handed out. Production on that second season of ten episodes is slated to begin in early January in London.
The series follows Lasso, a small-time college football coach from Kansas hired to coach a professional soccer team in England, despite having no experience coaching soccer. Hannah Waddingham, Brendan Hunt, Jeremy Swift, Juno Temple, Brett Goldstein, Phil Dunster and Nick Mohammed co-star.
The show has proven quite good with critics with the first season scoring an 86% approval on Rotten Tomatoes.
