Apple Arcade Offers Subscription Game Service

Along with its Apple TV+ service, the company also announced its long-rumored gaming subscription service this morning. Called Apple Arcade, they claim the service is: “the world’s first game subscription service for mobile, desktop and living room”.

With a single subscription, you get access to more than one-hundred new and exclusive games which won’t be on any other mobile platform. The subscription will let you download and play as many of the Apple Arcade games as you want.

All games feature cross-play between Apple devices, support family support and all will be playable offline. That launches in the Fall with the most high-profile title being “Beyond a Steel Sky” which is a sequel to iconic 1990s point-and-click game “Beneath a Steel Sky”.

Other titles include: “Where Cards Fall,” “FANTASIAN,” “Lifelike,” “Overland”, “Little Orpheus,” “The Artful Escape,” “The Pathless,” “ATONE: Heart of the Elder Tree,” “LEGO Brawls,” “Oceanhorn 2: Knights of the Lost Realm,” “Sonic Racing,”“Box Project,” “Frogger in Toy Town,” “Projection: First Light,” “Mr. Turtle,” “Enter The Construct,” “Sayonara Wild Hearts,” and “Hot Lava”.
