Fox’s gaming division, FoxNext Games, has acquired Cold Iron Studios (“BioShock Infinite,” “Borderlands”) to develop a new video game title based on the “Alien” franchise.
While numerous games have been made based on the franchise, 2014’s “Alien: Isolation” was a major critical and sales success – leading to renewed interest in titles from the franchise.
The new game will be available for PC and console gameplay, but specific details are still under wraps. A release date has not been revealed.
