“Amnesia: Rebirth” Set For Next Month

Frictional Games has announced an October 20th release date for “Amnesia: Rebirth,” a new chapter in one of the most acclaimed horror game franchises.

This third entry in the series follows directly on from ‘The Dark Descent’ rather than the quasi-sequel ‘A Machine for Pigs’ and centers on Tasi Trianon, a woman burdened by intense physical and mental trauma while looking for answers and trying to survive a desert hellscape.

Thomas Grip, creative director at Frictional Games says it’s: “not just another haunted house spook-fest, but an emotionally harrowing journey… we aim to go beyond simple jump-scares and to affect players on a deeper level. While Rebirth will contain the terrifying encounters and sights you expect from an Amnesia game, it has a lot more focus on narrative than previous entries in the series.”

The game will be available for PC and PlayStation 4.
