Robbie Amell (“Upload”), Meng’er Zhang (“Shang-Chi”), Hugh Skinner (“Fleabag”) and Christelle Elwin (“Bloods”) have all joined the cast of the third season of Netflix’s big-budget fantasy epic “The Witcher”.

Amell plays an elven fighter named Gallatin, who leads a Nilfgaard army of guerrilla Scoia’tael. His loyalty leads him on a collision course with the elven sorceress Francesca (Mecia Simson).

Zhang is Milva, a skilled and huntress human huntress adopted by the Brokilon Forest dryads. Skinner is Prince Radovid, royal playboy and younger brother to King Vizimir (Ed Birch) who finds himself working for Redanian Intelligence.

Elwin is Mistle, a member of the misfit teenage gang The Rats who steal from the rich and give to themselves. A chance meeting will change everything.

The four join returning main cast members Henry Cavill as Geralt of Rivia, Freya Allan as Ciri of Cintra and Anya Chalotra as Yennefer of Vengerberg on the new run of episodes which began production earlier this month.

In the new season, Geralt takes Ciri into hiding, determined to protect his newly-reunited family against those who threaten to destroy it. Entrusted with Ciri’s magical training, Yennefer leads them to the protected fortress of Aretuza, where she hopes to discover more about the girl’s untapped powers.

Instead, they discover they’ve landed in a battlefield of political corruption, dark magic, and treachery. They must fight back, put everything on the line. Lauren Schmidt Hissrich serves as showrunner and executive producer.
