AMC Cancels “NOS4A2” After Two Seasons

After just two seasons AMC has canceled its vampire drama series “NOS4A2,” based on Joe HIll’s 2013 novel of the same name. The news arrives just a week after the second and now final season of the Zachary Quinto-led series wrapped its run on August 23rd.

Showrunner Jami O’Brien broke the news on social media saying: “Well friends, I heard from AMC last week. We won’t be making a 3rd season of NOS4A2. It’s a bummer, but I’m grateful we were at least able to finish adapting the storyline from Joe Hill’s terrific novel.”

Linear ratings for the show fell considerably in the second season with just 800,000 total viewers tuning into AMC and BBC America in across Live+3 ratings – the series losing half its audience from the first season.
