Amazon Prime has set a January 6th premiere date and released an official trailer for the upcoming supernatural thriller series “The Rig”.
The six-episode Scotland-shot series begins with the crew of the North Sea stationed Kinloch Bravo oil rig due to return to the mainland. A mysterious fog rolls in and cuts off communication with the outside world.
Soon they are driven to the limits of their endurance and loyalties and will be forced into a confrontation with forces that are beyond their imagination.
Martin Compston, Iain Glen, Emily Hampshire, Mark Bonnar, Owen Teale, Richard Pepple, Rochenda Sandall, Calvin Demba, and Emun Elliot co-star.
