Amazon Studios has assembled a massive cast for its highly-anticipated half-hour anthology series adaptation of the column and podcast “Modern Love”. The show will explore love in all of its complicated and beautiful forms.
The cast includes Anne Hathaway, Tina Fey, John Slattery, Dev Patel, Catherine Keener, Andy Garcia, Cristin Milioti, Brandon Victor Dixon, Olivia Cooke, Andrew Scott, Julia Garner, Shea Whigham, Gary Carr, Sofia Boutella and John Gallagher, Jr.
The project hails from “Once” and “Sing Street” filmmaker John Carney who serves as writer, director, and executive producer. Emmy Rossum, Sharon Horgan and Tom Hall will also direct episodes with Horgan penning her own while Rossum helms one by the late Audrey Wells (“Under the Tuscan Sun,” “The Hate U Give”).
Todd Hoffman, Sam Dolnick and Choire Sicha will executive produce alongside Carney and Trish Hofmann. The show is now filming in New York.
