Amanda Seyfried (“Mamma Mia,” “Les Miserables”) is in negotiations to join Seth MacFarlane’s “Blazing Saddles”-esque comedy western “A Million Ways to Die in the West” at MRC.
The story follows a sheepish farmer (MacFarlane) who chickens out of a gunfight and sees his girlfriend (Seyfried) leave him.
When he meets a notorious outlaw’s wife (Charlize Theron) who offers to teach him how to shoot, the farmer sees a chance to win back his love.
MacFarlan is directing and co-writing the film, and is producing with Scott Stuber. Shooting aims to begin in May.
