All 25 Bond Films Hitting Amazon Prime…Briefly

All 25 Bond Films Hitting Amazon Briefly
EON & MGM/UA

Amazon has confirmed that all 25 official James Bond films, from 1962’s “Dr. No” through to 2021’s “No Time to Die,” will be available via its Amazon Prime Video service from next Friday.

All the films will be launched on Amazon on that date, marking the first time all the Bond films will be available on one streaming platform without requiring individual purchase.

One problem though is the availability will be relatively short-lived – the full collection will only be available for two months, with the exception of “No Time To Die” which will be available for a full year. The reasoning for the short window is not clear at present.

The streaming launch comes after MGM, which owns the rights to the Bond movies, was bought by Amazon. The only two films not included are the ones not developed by EON Productions – namely the 1967 “Casino Royale” parody, and the loose “Thunderball” remake “Never Say Never Again” from 1983.
