“Alien Covenant” First Poster, Earlier Date

20th Century Fox has some amazing news for fans of the “Alien” franchise.

Today, using their official Twitter account, they released the first poster for Ridley Scott’s “Alien: Covenant” and included the good news – that the film has been moved up and will debut three months early.

Instead of debuting on August 4th next year, it will now open on May 19th. Michael Fassbender is returning as the android David alongside Billy Crudup, Katherine Waterston, Danny McBride and Noomi Rapace in the film which will serve as a link between “Prometheus” and “Alien”
