“Alice In Borderland” Season 3 Sets Launch

Netflix has set a September 25th premiere date for the third season of “Alice in Borderland,” its live-action Japanese thriller series based on Haro Aso’s manga.

The first teaser trailer has also been released for the new season and can be seen below.

The series follows a group of people transported to a parallel universe to compete in games to stay alive. The second season became Netflix Japan’s most-watched title ever and hit the Top 10 in over 90 countries.

The third season sees Usagi (Tao Tsuchiya) abducted by a mysterious scholar obsessed with the afterlife. Alice (Kento Yamazaki) sets out to save her and teams up with new players. They must face the yet-unseen ‘Joker’ stage to get back to their original world.

Hayato Isomura, Ayaka Miyoshi, Katsuya Maiguma, Koji Ohkura, Risa Sudou, Hiroyuki Ikeuchi, Tina Tamashiro, Kotaro Daigo, Hyunri, Sakura Kiryu, Yugo Mikawa, Joey Iwanaga, Akana Ikeda and Kento Kaku star.

Yasuko Kuramitsu and Shinsuke Sato write the series while Akira Morii and Tomoki Takase produce.
