Alessandro Nivola (“The Many Saints of Newark,” “Jurassic Park III”) has scored the role of the main villain of the “Kraven the Hunter” feature at Marvel and Sony Pictures.
It’s currently not known what character Nivola will be playing other than it being the antagonist. He joins a quickly swelling cast in the film that stars Aaron Taylor Johnson as the eponymous Russian big-game hunter character from Marvel comics lore.
Also onboard are Fred Hechinger as Chameleon, Ariana DeBose as Calypso and Russell Crowe.
J.C. Chandor is directing the film from a script by Art Marcum, Matt Holloway and Richard Wenk. Avi Arad and Matt Tolmach are producing. The film opens on January 13th 2023.
