Remedy Entertainment, the game developer behind the beloved “Alan Wake” and last year’s multi-award winning title “Control,” has signed with Epic Games to publish their next two titles.
Yet to be announced, both titles will be set within the same franchise. One is dubbed the company’s most ambitious game yet and is an “AAA multi-platform game already in pre-production”. The other is a “new, smaller-scale project”.
Remedy Entertainment CEO Tero Virtala says in a statement: “This partnership provides us full creative freedom to deliver our bold vision to the fullest.”
Both games are being developed on Remedy’s proprietary Northlight game engine and tools with plans to launch on next generation console platforms and PC within the next few years.
