One of the worst-kept secrets of current film and television has finally been revealed in full.
SPOILERS AHEAD FOR 1×05 OF “AGATHA ALL ALONG”
The fifth episode of Marvel Studios’ “Agatha All Along” series has been released, revealing the mystery behind Joe Locke’s Teen – he’s none other than Wiccan/Billie Kaplan, son of Elizabeth Olsen’s Wanda Maximoff.
In the episode, Locke’s Teen confronts Kathryn Hahn’s Agatha Harkness about their latest casualty, and during this Agatha says: “You’re so much like your mother.”
The enraged Teen mind controls Lilia (Patti LuPone) and Jen (Sasheer Zamata) to drown Agatha in mud before blasting those two into the mud as well.
The final shot of the episode sees a blue crown appear over his head, very much like the scarlet crown donned by Wanda. Billie Eilish’s “You Should See Me in a Crown” plays over the end credits.
In the comics, Billy is the living reincarnation of the Scarlet Witch’s son – one of the twins that Wanda Maximoff magically created. Billy is a strong magic wielder who becomes a member of the Young Avengers and is in a relationship with Skrull strongman Teddy Altman.
“Agatha All Along” continues to roll out Wednesday nights on the Disney+ service.
