Adria Arjona (“Pacific Rim: Uprising,” “6 Underground,” “Triple Frontier”) is set to star opposite Diego Luna in the “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” prequel series based around Diego Luna’s Cassian Andor character. Specifics of Arjona’s character are unknown.
The spy thriller-themed series focuses on Rebel agent Andor prior to the events of ‘Rogue One’ in the early days of the Rebellion against the Empire. Alan Tudyk, Denise Gough, Genevieve O’Reilly, Stellan Skarsgard and Kyle Soller are also on board in supporting roles.
Tony Gilroy, who co-wrote “Rogue One,” is set to write the pilot for the series in addition to directing multiple episodes. He will also work alongside series showrunner Stephen Schiff.
