Oscar nominated actress Amy Adams is set to star in “Nightbitch,” a darkly comedic film adaptation of Rachel Yoder’s upcoming debut novel for Annapurna Pictures.
The story follows an unnamed woman and former artist, thrust into stay-at-home domesticity after the birth of her son, who becomes increasingly worried and convinced that she may be turning into a dog.
The author will adapt the novel and will executive produce alongside Megan Ellison, Sue Naegle, and Sammy Scher. Adams has both “Hillbilly Elegy” and “The Woman in the Window” on the way later this year or early 2021.
