McKay is one of the producers on a podcast focused on the recent news surrounding Epstein and may use that as the basis for the project which could be either a narrative film or documentary.
McKay’s potential film is said to be one of several currently in various stages of development, with series, films, and other projects currently being shopped around. McKay is currently working on the HBO pilot based on the 1980s Los Angeles Lakers.
