Abraham Apologises Over “Mythic” Behavior

83-year-old “The White Lotus” star F. Murray Abraham has issued an apology after allegations of sexual misconduct came out and led to his departure from the Apple TV+ series “Mythic Quest” according to Rolling Stone.

The magazine revealed that Abraham was fired from the Apple TV+ series following at least two alleged concerns raised about his behavior on set.

The first resulted in Abraham being given a warning and told to keep away from some of the show’s actresses. When a second allegation came up, it forced series co-creator Rob McElhenney to let the “Amadeus” star go.

Abraham has now issued a statement offering his side of the story, saying he only told jokes on set. However, he realises he upset his colleagues and says he’s ‘grown’ from the experience and hopes they will forgive him:

“This is a sincere and deeply felt apology. Though never my intention to offend anyone, I told jokes, nothing more, that upset some of my colleagues and, as a result, lost a great job with wonderful people. I have grown in my understanding from this experience, and I hope they will forgive me.”

In addition, THR reports that the production team on “The White Lotus” Season 2, which Abraham shot after exiting “Mythic Quest,” did not receive any complaints about Abraham’s behavior.
