ABC Renews Thirteen Series, Cancels Four

ABC has announced this afternoon that it has issued new season renewals for thirteen of its series and ordered three new ones. Like CBS, the network appears to be proceeding as if the current pandemic won’t interfere with production once safety protocols are in place.

The renewals include “American Housewife,” “The Bachelor,” “black-ish,” “The Conners,” “Dancing with the Stars,” “The Goldbergs,” “A Million Little Things,” “mixed-ish,” “The Rookie,” “Shark Tank,” “Stumptown” and “Who Wants To Be A Millionaire”.

They join the already renewed “American Idol,” “America’s Funniest Home Videos,” “The Good Doctor,” “Grey’s Anatomy” and “Station 19” along with three new series – David E. Kelley’s PI drama “Big Sky,” Kari Lizer’s multicamera comedy “Call Your Mother,” and the game show “Supermarket Sweep”.

They’ve also confirmed that they have cancelled “Bless This Mess,” “Emergence,” “Kids Say the Darndest Things,” “Schooled” and “Single Parents”. In addition, both “The Baker and the Beauty” and “For Life” remain on the bubble.
