ABC has cancelled its freshman dramas “Queens” and “Promised Land”. “Promised Land” followed a Latino family vying for wealth and power in California’s Sonoma Valley.
“Queens” followed four women in their 40s who reunite for a chance to recapture their fame when they were legends in the 1990s hip-hop world.
The cancellations come as word has broken that Fred Savage has been dismissed from ABC’s 2021 reboot of “The Wonder Years” following an investigation into multiple allegations of misconduct.
Savage was an executive producer and director on the series which has not been renewed for a second season yet but remains in contention.
