Aaron Taylor-Johnson (“Tenet,” “Nocturnal Animals”) has joined the ensemble of the action-thriller “Bullet Train” at Sony Pictures.
The film is based on Kotaro Isaka’s Japanese novel “Maria Beetle,” the story follows five assassins who find themselves on a fast moving bullet train from Tokyo to Morioka with only a few stops in between.
They discover their missions are not unrelated to each other. The question becomes who will make it off the train alive and what awaits them at the terminal station?
Taylor-Johnson will play one of the hitmen alongside Brad Pitt, Joey King and Andrew Koji.
David Leitch (“Hobbs & Shaw”) will direct and also supervise the script, which will be written by Zak Olkewicz. Antoine Fuqua, Kelly McCormick will produce while Kat Samick, Ryosuke Saegusa and Yuma Terada executive produce.
