“A Quiet Place: Day One” Sets Date

A Quiet Place Part Ii Beating Expectations
Paramount Pictures

Paramount Pictures has announced a March 8th 2024 release date for “A Quiet Place: Day One,” the upcoming spin-off feature set in the same universe as John Krasinski’s two “A Quiet Place” films.

“Pig” helmer Michael Sarnoski will direct this third overall installment in the franchise which is now arriving about six months later than originally teased.

Serving as something of a prequel, this will show more of those events briefly glimpsed at the start of the second film where the creatures first arrive on the scene.

Emily Blunt and Krasinski aren’t expected to reprise their roles for the new film which will offer a larger canvas to set up a potential ‘Quiet Place’ universe (though it’d be a surprise if one didn’t cameo).

Krasinski will produce alongside Michael Bay, Andrew Form and Brad Fuller. A trilogy capper focusing on the family at the center of the first two films is expected to be made eventually.
