Netflix has just dropped two trailers today for upcoming comedies with female leads. The first, “Ibiza,” sees “Community” star Gillian Jacobs, Vanessa Bayer and Phoebe Robinson playing three friends on a work trip to Barcelona who ditch their plans and fly to Ibiza where one falls for a hot DJ (Richard Madden). Alex Richanbach helms the film which is released May 25th.
The other is “The Kissing Booth,” the Vince Marcello-directed film adaptation of Beth Reekle’s self-published coming-of-age novel. Joey King stars as a pretty, late-bloomer who has never-been-kissed and decides to run a kissing booth at her high school’s Spring Carnival. She unexpectedly finds herself locking lips with her secret crush – the ultimate bad boy Noah Flynn (Jacob Elordi) who is also the brother of her best friend Lee (Joel Courtney). That film opens May 11th.
