Amy Poehler will be making her feature directorial debut on the Netflix comedy feature “Wine Country” which she will also star in and produce.
Poehler has assembled a group of fellow comedians for the project including Rachel Dratch, Ana Gasteyer, Paula Pell, Maya Rudolph, Emily Spivey and a brief appearance from Tina Fey.
The story follows a group of longtime friends who go to Napa for a weekend getaway to celebrate a 50th birthday. Spivey and Liz Cackowski penned the project.
Filming kicks off toward the end of March in Los Angeles and Napa, California.
