Mel Gibson and Frank Grillo are in talks to star in the Joe Carnahan-directed action thriller “Boss Level” at Emmett/Furla/Oasis.
Sounding like a spin on the “Groundhog Day” and “Edge of Tomorrow” formula, Grillo plays a retired special forces vet forced to relive his death in a never-ending loop. He has to figure out who is responsible and stop them in order to stop his endless suffering.
Lorenzo di Bonaventura and Mark Vahradian will produce.
