With some Kickstarter help, filmmakers Beth David and Esteban Bravo have crafted “In a Heartbeat,” a sweet and sincere Pixar-esque four-minute animated short about young love.
In this case, the love is a closeted gay teen named Sherwin who goes to extreme lengths to keep his crush on fellow student Jonathan a secret.
Done without dialogue and crafted by the Ringling College of Art and Design, the short has racked up nearly two million views in less than a day.
