Paramount Pictures has premiered a new clip from the upcoming live-action “Ghost in the Shell” film online. Titled ‘Water Fight,’ it shows more of a key scene glimpsed in the trailer with Scarlett Johansson’s The Major using her cloaking ability to take on a bad guy in ankle-deep water.
Also today is a poster involving the film’s seeming cybernetic villain Kuze who wants to show The Major the truth about her existence.
In the film Johansson plays a special ops, one-of-a-kind human-cyborg hybrid, who leads the elite task force Section 9. Devoted to stopping the most dangerous criminals and extremists, Section 9 is faced with an enemy whose singular goal is to wipe out Hanka Robotic’s advancements in cyber technology.
The new “Ghost in the Shell” opens March 31st.
