Benedict Cumberbatch is attached to star in the film adaptation of Matt Haig’s forthcoming novel “How to Stop Time” at SunnyMarch and Studiocanal.
Cumberbatch will play Tom Hazard, a man who may look like an ordinary 41-year-old but, owing to an extremely rare condition, has been alive for centuries. The love story spans centuries and continents.
Cumberbatch will executive produce alongside Jamie Byng. Haig worked in a screenwriting capacity on Studiocanal’s 2014 hit “Paddington.”
